| SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR 2006 |

| The Camp July 17th- August 11th Students ages 6 -10 years of age Camp meets every morning Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am -12:15. Each camp day, one of a variety of different dance technique (Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, or Irish Step) will be scheduled and taught from 9:30-11:00 am. Break & Snack will take place at 11:00 while a dance video is shown. At 11:15, the students will be able to work on the special projects of the day or their own individual weekly project. Projects will include choreography, costuming, scenery and set design , make-up and hair for the dancer or a dance video production. The whole day will be supervised by at least one faculty member and various senior company members working as “camp counselors”. The camp will provide the student the chance to try different dance techniques, as well as, learning technical aspects of the performing art. Students enroll in the weeks of their choice. Minimum of 2 weeks. Children will be separated by technical ability if enrollment is high within the week |

| Intensive Dance Technique July 23rd- August 18th Open to intermediate and advanced students 10 years of age and up. Students will be separated by ability for classes with over enrollment. Classes meet every day: MWF-10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Special techniques & master classes given TT 11:00-1:00. Designed for The Studio Company and Warwick Ballet Theatre member or any student at the advanced levels in ballet. Students will be given the opportunity to continue their classes with DS instructors as well as master class guests artists. Choreography will also be started for October performances. Students must register for the MWF classes in advance before the summer session begins. Students may request additional classes or trade class days by permission only after registration is processed. |
